Every man is the architect of his fortune. (Dictionary of English Proverbs/Thomas Preston)

People are born with certain advantages and some do have more opportunities than others.  However, each of us still has the ability to start where we are, decide where we want to be, and develop a plan for achieving our goal.  Just because one starts with fewer assets than another does not mean one has zero chance of achieving great and wonderful things.  There are things that money cannot buy–perseverance, innate intelligence, natural ability, and the motivation to strive for one’s goals.  We can find examples of people who were given incredible advantages, resources, education, and family support who failed simply because of their own ineptitude or lack of effort.  Never allow anyone or anything to dictate to you what you are capable of achieving.  Sure, you may have to work extraordinarily harder or significantly longer than someone given a head-start.  However, so long as you keep trying and never, ever give up, you can succeed.

  1. Psalm 139
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

I THINK MOST COMMENTARIES DONT GET “in continuance were fashioned” as bring about tho all are born imperfect due to past lifetime sin karma, God continually brings lesson every day for to learn spiritual lessons and overcome a soul’s past karmic sins
