BE WISE NOT STUBBORN

Learning from experience is good if you’ve made a mistake.  However, it’s also the hard way to learn.  Learning the hard way is having to learn from mistakes–it’s trial and error.  Sometimes the error part can be hurtful or even harmful.  Learning from experience means suffering first to learn a lesson.  It is far better to learn from other people’s experiences then you can learn without the consequences of mistakes or bad choices.  Learn from history.  Listen to those who have been there before.  Pay attention to the wisdom of others.  Having to figure things out on your own all the time is ignoring all the knowledge of all the people who have ever lived.  It’s not necessary.  Set ego and pride aside to pay attention to what others have to say.  Make your own decisions but take account all the information available to you before doing so.  Be wise not stubborn.
