“For after the battle comes quiet (H. G. Wells).”  After facing a huge challenge it does get quiet.  When we are successful in the battle the quiet feels almost like depression.  When we are unsuccessful in the battle the quiet feels like a reprieve.  Either way, we have a down time following a fight whether that fight be emotional, spiritual, intellectual, or physical.  Enjoy the break.  The next battle is sure to follow.
