The absence of anger (or any other negative emotion) does not necessarily equal happiness.  On the other hand, it is hard to feel happy when you are angry.  Anger is a strong emotion which covers and pushes out other emotions.  I’ve come to realize nothing good comes from anger when the anger is all consuming and powerful.  I’ve learned I regret things said in anger and decisions made in anger.  Anger can cause something to be identified that’s not good.  When this happens mark the information and wait.  When the anger has subsided go back and look at the situation and then make a decision about a change in your life or taking action of some kind if your rational self agrees.  Don’t let anger control you and don’t let strong emotions dictate your life.  Most of all, don’t let anger destroy your relationships.  DW 1/2/17
