This past Autumn was one of the most beautiful ones I remember seeing in years–if ever. Maybe it was the draught we were going through that made the colors on the trees so vivid.  The leaves turned slowly and there were several weeks of watching it happen.  I don’t remember even being able to notice Autumn before because it seemed to only last a day or two.  This time there was a distinct Autumn in Georgia and it was special.  The temperatures cooled slowly into cold the way I always imagined it should.  Normally we go from very hot to very cold seemingly overnight with no really season of Fall.  Now I understand why people in other parts of the country talk so fondly of Fall.  I finally got to see it for myself!
