We are driving some old vehicles. The oldest is 19 years old as of 2016. The one with the most miles had 224,000 miles when the gauge stopped working several months ago (and I drive 600 miles per week–minimum). We decided to keep the old ones as long as we can. We hope they will make it until the home and land are paid for. The advantages are we have no payment, the insurance is less and the taxes are less. The maintenance and upkeep are not as pricey as the expense would be for a new vehicle. It is a little awkward since now they are just old cars and not really vintage or classic looking–yet. We drive a 1997 Chevy S-10, a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and a 2002 Buick LeSabre. Wish us luck.
