  • Losses can be mourned.
  • The past is not here.
  • It cannot control unless you let it.
  • Don’t deny it.
  • Don’t glorify it.
  • Don’t be ashamed of it.
  • Just know that it happened.
  • You lived through it.
  • You survived.
  • It certainly can’t hurt you now.
  • Acknowledge it.
  • Respect it.
  • Let it go.
  • It is over.
